FAQ

When do I need maintenance for my garage door?

Depending on usage of your garage door, you should seek expert maintenance once or twice a year.

When a spring breaks on my garage door, should I replace both or just one?

Both springs should be replaced to prevent more significant problems in the future.

Is it safe for me to replace my own garage door springs?

Because of the high torque on garage door springs, and other safety risks, you should seek help from a professional technician.

Door openers are available for most new models, but not some older models. Please let us know the model and radio frequency of the remote control so we can determine the right model for you.

Does Action Door & Window give free estimates?

Yes, we offer free, in-home written estimates for replacement of garage doors, entry doors and windows, but we do not offer free estimates on service repairs.

Do I have to replace my entire garage door if just a section is damaged, or a few sections are damaged?

If replacement sections are in production, it may be possible to replace just one section, but depending of the condition of the rest of the door, it may be advisable to replace the entire door.
